Collection and processing of personal data
We collect and process personal data exclusively within the scope of the statutory provisions of the Federal Republic of Germany and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This website can generally be used without providing any personal data. Personal data is only collected when you provide it voluntarily — for example, when you sign up to be notified about the launch of MailSync or complete a purchase.
Purposes and legal bases of processing
- Launch notification: If you enter your email address into the notification form, we use it solely to inform you when MailSync becomes available. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future.
- Purchase and license fulfilment: When you purchase MailSync, we process your email address to handle the purchase and to deliver your license key and download link. The legal basis is the performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Payment processing: Payments are handled by our payment provider Mollie. You enter your payment details (e.g. card or bank details) directly with Mollie; we do not receive or store complete payment data. Mollie's privacy policy applies in addition.
Cookies
This website only uses technically necessary cookies (a session cookie, e.g. to store your language preference and to secure forms). These cookies serve solely the technical functionality of the website. We do not use any analytics, tracking or marketing cookies.
Retention period
The personal data you provide is deleted as soon as the purpose of the processing has been fulfilled and no statutory retention obligations require otherwise:
- Email addresses from the notification form are deleted after the launch notification has been sent, or earlier if you withdraw your consent.
- Purchase-related data is subject to statutory retention periods (generally 10 years pursuant to § 147 AO / § 257 HGB) and is deleted once these expire.
Processors and recipients
Your personal data is processed and stored exclusively on servers in Germany or the EU/EEA. We use the following processors and recipients to operate this website:
- Server infrastructure: Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestraße 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany
- Email delivery: Heinlein Support GmbH (mailbox.org), Schwedter Straße 8/9B, 10119 Berlin, Germany
- Payment processing: Mollie B.V., Keizersgracht 126, 1015 CW Amsterdam, Netherlands. Mollie processes your payment data partly under its own responsibility as a payment service provider.
Rights of data subjects
Under the GDPR, you have the following rights:
- Right of access (Art. 15 GDPR): You have the right to obtain information about the processing of your personal data.
- Right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR): You may request the correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR): You may request the deletion of your data, provided no statutory retention obligations require otherwise.
- Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR): You may request that the processing of your data be restricted.
- Right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR): You have the right to receive your data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format.
- Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR): You may object to the processing of your data where it is based on a legitimate interest.
- Right to lodge a complaint (Art. 77 GDPR): You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
Security measures
We use technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access or manipulation. These include:
- SSL/TLS encryption for the secure transmission of data.
- Regular updates of the software and systems in use.
- Access protection through strong passwords and, where applicable, two-factor authentication.
- Regular backups and protection through firewalls.
- Restriction of access to personal data to authorised persons.
Notice of your right to object pursuant to Art. 21 GDPR
Where we process your personal data on the basis of our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), you have the right to object to this processing at any time. To do so, contact datenschutz@naymspace.de. After an objection, we will no longer process your data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing that override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
Changes to this privacy policy
We reserve the right to amend this privacy policy as necessary to reflect changed legal or technical requirements. The current version of this privacy policy is always available on this website.
